Before participating in Indian Idol 5, Sreeram was an upcoming playback singer in Telugu film industry. In spite of a non-musical background, Sreeram had a passion towards singing and started singing from his school days. Sreerama, a native of Andhra Pradesh has always lived in Hyderabad where his father is a High Court advocate while his mother is a housewife.
